Industrial Wastewater Treatment – Hexavalent Chrome Reduction System
Treatment of Chrome Bearing Wastewaters
Hexavalent Chrome is a contaminant in rinse water that must be reduced to trivalent chrome and removed after precipitation.
We provide a highly-automated system scalable by components sizing to treat up to 50 gallons per minute, either stand alone or integrated with our ion exchange & specialized treatment systems. Designed based on our years of experience with a variety of metal-bearing wastewater. The single reaction tank with mixers, pH & ORP sensors, and H2SO4 NaOH & reducer feed pumps ensures required reaction time for continuous chrome reduction by either a proprietary precipitant at pH 6 or my Na-MBS at pH 2.
The treatment process and system components can be manually controlled by an operator for each process step, or highly-automated by the programmable automation controller executing operator-adjustable treatment set-points through a touch screen also providing electronic data-logging and archiving for regulatory compliance.
